For the first installment of our new producer-partnership series, we teamed up with composer & sample maker extraordinaire Chris Keys (credits Include: Quelle Chris, Kyle Doin, OhNo, Georgia Ann Muldrow, The Judas & The Black Messiah soundtrack).
“New Colours” is filled with tasteful melodic loops, live drum breaks, percussion loops, and chunky one shots. It has a bit of everything, and truly showcases Chris’s dynamic range ass a multi-instrumentalist.
The real magic of the pack is in the 26 full multi-instrument compositions. With soaring string sections, symphonic horns, and angelic local arrangements, these soulful sounds are perfect for looping or chopping. All of the loops and one shots were composed, performed, and mixed by Chris, who after 10 years of professional sample making, has a defined and recognizable style – with more than a few sonic tricks up his sleeve.
